Fun campground in Big Timber

Get reservations early as they fill up.

30 °C

We needed a weekend to try out my mom's new camper, so we went to Big Timber, less than a 100 miles, to try it out. This campground has fishing ponds. They do charge for the fishing, but for kids, this is the cat's meow. Above is my grandson Noah. He and his brother David went with us. They loved the fishing.

David brought in a 29" 9 1/2 lb Rainbow Trout. The campground provides the fishing gear to be used and cleans the fish for you.I was actually glad I did not have to put the worm on the hook. He was upset he could not take it home as a pet.

They do have a playground that the kids flock to. The boys made several new friends.

Noah is putting the neighbor's dogs to sleep.

I was able to get an image of one of the trout in the trophy pond.

The people who run this campground do a really good job and bend over backwards to help out campers have a good time. Noah needed shoe laces for his shoes, they didn't have any, but managed to find some cord I could use. Then when we were on our way out we realized the tires in the camper were low. So they brought over a compressor and filled the tires.
